In no sense of it being "gay", UMNO & PAS enjoyed a beautiful "wedding ceremony" yesterday - with bringing both families together as a political collaboration.
Just look at the "loving" way both parties' vice-presidents look at each other...
According to reports, this "tying of the knot" is with the objective of bringing the Muslims & Malays closer together.
"This main committee will be chaired by both me and the PAS deputy president. There will be a technical committee chaired by the two vice-presidents of the parties, namely Umno's Datuk Seri Khaled Nordin and PAS' Dr Idris Ahmad. This committee is to formalise our cooperation,” says UMNO deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.
For the rest of us non-Malays and non-Muslims, don't worry...it doesn't mean we're being left out -- so lets not start a riot over this "marriage" being a racist matter.
"Our agenda is not to create a Malay pact versus the non-Malays. We want to unite the Muslims and bumiputra without sidelining any other race and religion," added Mohamad.
However, if you're a firm supporter of the Pakatan Harapan party, this might rattle you a little la -- y'know, two is better than one and this two parties are legally "married" now so the Pakatan Harapan ruling coalition might wanna buck up now...
