5 Full-Body Home Workouts to Keep You Active and COVID-free.

With the recent extension of MCO,  we're still committed to keeping fit and healthy -- cause if we're just gonna wait for our gym to reopen, we'll all be like this by then...

As important as it is to do our part to decrease the rate of COVID-19 cases, we also need to boost our bodies’ ability to fight off infections.

So, in efforts of staying Fit, Healthy, and COVID-free, here are some effective home workout that don't require any equipment -- well unless you don't have a clean floor, then we advise for you guys to use a yoga mat.  

1. High Knees

PURPOSE: Cardio Buster

  • Stand with your feet hip-width apart.
  • Lift your Left knee to your Chest.
  • Alternate legs, moving at a sprinting or running pace.

2. Plank Walks

PURPOSE: Upper Body Push

  • Start in a prone plank position, resting on your forearms, forming a straight line.
  • Push up from the ground, one arm at a time, into an elevated push up position.

3. Floor Y Raise

PURPOSE: Upper Body Pull

  • Lie facedown on the floor.
  • Your shoulders fixed out on a diagonal angle and your body should shaped like a Y, with your thumbs facing up.
  • Keep your core tight and raise your arms off the ground.

4. Bird Dog

PURPOSE: Core

  • Kneel with knees hip-width apart.
  • Hands firmly placed on the ground.
  • Life one hand and opposite knee off the ground.
  • Stretch your arm straight out in front and extend your leg behind you.
  • Repeat with the other side of your hand and leg.

5. Squat

PURPOSE: Lower Body

  • Point your toes outwards.
  • Tense your abs.
  • Look forward and go down into a squat position.

Perform 3-5 sets per workout without rest in between.
