Ban on Spas and Reflexology Services has been LIFTED so You can Now Go and get Massages.

Spa, wellness and reflexology services, including those provided by blind masseurs, can resume operations from next Wednesday, 1 JULY, according to Senior Minister Ismail Sabri.

SOPs, such as social distancing, checking temperature of clients, the use of face shields and registration via MySejahtera, applies for these outlets, workers and patrons.

“For spa, wellness and reflexology centres, they can open, provided only their workers who are Malaysian citizens come back to work," he said.

"Workers must be screened for COVID-19 before they can come back to work.”

As for blind masseurs, the minister said they were also allowed to provide these services and must register with the local authorities before resuming business.

“Now that the infection curve of COVID-19 has flattened and the number of cases has gone down to single digits, we will allow them to operate,” said Ismail.
