The Health Ministry has detected 21 positive Covid-19 cases today.
15 of them are imported cases whereas 6 cases are local transmissions. There are 0 deaths and 18 recovered patients. There are 2 patients in ICU, however, no patients need breathing support.
The 3 cases in Kedah are related to the cluster PUI Sivagangga. Since a returnee was tested positive, the virus caused a widespread and now, the cluster is the second-highest out of the 24 active clusters nationwide.
Such clusters are not unique from the past. Till today, there are 7 other active clusters that are caused by returnees to Malaysia who have failed to comply with the Home Surveillance Order. If returnees keep breaking home quarantine rules, our country will never be free from Covid-19.
