Lenovo officially launched their Lenovo Phone Duel on the 20th of October as the brands flagship gaming smartphone. The phone was first launched in China back in July and seeks to compete against the mobile gaming market with brands such as ASUS ROG and Razer by boasting top-tier hardware.

The phone comes in two colours, Vengeance Red and Blazing Blue which has a 6.59 inch full HD+ panel with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz so it ensure you’ll get buttery smooth gameplay and no lag issues when pressing your controls. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 865+ (5G and Wifi 6 supported) and up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage available and not to forget, it comes with programmable RGB lighting for custom notifications.
Unlike most phones, it comes with dual 2500mAh batteries which brings the total battery size to 5000mAh. It will only take 15 minutes to charge the phone from 0-60% and only 34 minutes to reach 100% with the provided 65W charger. The phone has 2 Dual Type-C charging and can support speeds up to 90W but you will need a PD-compliant charger to support this.
The 20MP front facing camera is interesting as it pops up via a mechanism mounted on the side of its body. It boast the ability to support [email protected] and is ideal for those mobile game streamers. The rear features twin cameras with a 64MP main shooter and a 16MP ultra-wide angle camera which also support up to [email protected] recording.
Gamers can benefit in game with the Dual Shoulder controls available on either end of the phone. Basically, it has triggers on its side which are activated by pressure which also emits vibration according to location in game. The sensitivity and vibration of it can be adjusted according to how you like it via the Legion Assistant built into the phone. Pair this up with the front facing stereo speakers ad you’ll be good to game or you could just pair up your earphones/headphones with the provided USB-C to 3.5mm dongle.
