WHAT: Prime Minister Najib Razak has passed the Anti-Fake News 2018 bills by stating that anyone caught spreading/creating FAKE News will be punished by paying a fine of RM500,000 and a maximum of 6 years in prison.
Again...we're not anti-government nor are we a political media, but many are criticizing the bill for possibly silencing the voices of many who wants to speak out on the Prime Minister's censored/involvement in scandals that are flying through the air.
You would be punished for fake features, visuals and audio recordings as well. Well so much for freedom of speech pfft...
Anything could be categorized as fake then as "some people" feel that it's uncovering their "dirty laundry" don't you think? So do we ever get any truths out?
The picture shown above is an advertisement to prevent fake news, at a train station in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
MYC! Review & Opinion of the Human Interest Story: Speaking out against certain matters that you hear about "some people" are best left as verbal communication. Remember, even audio recordings can get you jailed or fined RM500,000. Some matters are just outta our reach, but justice and truth will come out eventually. #besafe #speakwithcaution
