To be precisely honest, I don’t think VENOM was that great really… the ending fight scene with Riot was pretty darn mediocre and the way Eddie Brock/Venom’s character was portrayed seriously confused me with the Tobey Maguire-Spiderman movie.

I mean, aren’t the two meant to be the antagonists in the movie?

Having said that though, as an avid movie-buff, I’m pleasantly surprised that Malaysia got its limelight in the opening scene of a big time Marvel movie (even though it was nothing more than 5 minutes…).

So unlike the Tobey Maguire-Spiderman movie version, the symbiotes in these canisters crashed in Sarawak – and the funniest thing is hearing these “supposedly-Sarawakian-EMTs” speaking in Malay!

Did you notice the female EMT saying “Bagi air! Bagi air!” in such a fake-ish Malaysian accent? LOL

Her name is Michelle Charlene Lee btw :)

Ok, we’ll try not to reveal too much as we don’t wanna spoil the experience for those of you who haven’t watched ‘Venom’ yet – so please do watch it to understand what we’re talking about.

Imma be fair and say the movie is entertaining but no quite a Marvel-movie masterpiece; but still…experience it for yourself.
