MARKETING/COMMUNICATIONS INTERNS/PART-TIMERS WANTED
ISKL is seeking young, bright and dynamic interns to join our Advancement team. We create engaging content for all facets of this diverse school and community, including but not limited to school events, sports events, alumni events, advertising campaigns, digital marketing, public relations, and internal department support.
The duration of the internship shall be at least 3 months or above. Our Internship Programme is continuing all over the year - so you may apply ahead should you intend to join us at a later date!

functions and Responsibilities
The Marketing Intern will support the marketing and communications team in organizing, planning and executing digital content marketing programs for ISKL and its stakeholders. This level position is mainly focused on social media content creation and execution and writing; the intern will work with account teams on programs that may include content marketing, communication activities, news, event planning and whatever is related to the marketing & communication department. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with the capability to work in a collaborative team environment.
» Candidate must preferably possess either a Background in Broadcasting, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or its equivalent. School Leavers are also encouraged to apply.
» Working knowledge in editing, proofreading including software programming knowledge will be advantageous.
» Must be a self-starter, independent, problem-solver, flexible, hardworking and have the capability to be creative.
» Must have the capability to interact well with expatriates and non-expatriates within the ISKL community.
» Strong writing expertise and capability to quickly understand and write about topics in diverse industries.
» Strong expertise in using social media tools, Hootsuite, Canva, video editing software, photo editing software etc.
» capability to write in various formats and for a range of tactics under the PR/content umbrella, including social media, blogs, newsletters, news releases and feature stories.
» practice in media relations or media relations materials development is a plus.
Essential tasks and Responsibilities
» Work closely with the Advancement Manager and work on social media programs on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube; responsibilities include content creation, posting, engagement, monitoring, and reporting.
» Work with the Advancement Manager to track editorial coverage, produce and manage clip creation, execution and reports.
» Assist in the research and development of social media organic strategies and tactics for proposals and presentations.
» Write content for blog posts, news releases, media alerts, press kit content, profiling newsletter articles, website content, and social media.
» Work closely with the Advancement Manager to provide administrative and other activities that help in organizing.
» Support Marketing & Communications team any all events, activities, project, publications logistics and more.
» Assist advancement team for any event or administration work needs
